Sarah graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2012 and was admitted to the roll of solicitors in 2014. Specialising in Criminal Law and Human Rights, she regularly represents detained persons at the Police Station. Sarah has an interest in Prison Law and in particular representing Prisoners before the Commission and criminal courts. Aside from Criminal work she also enjoys representing clients at Mental Health Review Tribunals as this also involves issues around a person’s liberty. Sarah is an active committee member of the Belfast Solicitors Association and is chair of the criminal law sub-committee. She also travels to Princeton, New Jersey, once a year to support Centurion Ministries who are a non-profit organisation with the sole aim to exonerate and free those who have been wrongly convicted. Sarah also assists clients completing Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC) applications within MSM Law and also advises on criminal Appeals regularly.
Outside of work, Sarah’s other interests include eating out and travelling around the world experiencing different cultures.
