MSM Law launches a new brand and website built around how clients really think

MSM Law has launched a new brand identity and website designed to better reflect how the firm works and how clients experience legal problems in the real world.

Led by Director Eoghan McKenna, the Belfast-based practice has developed a reputation for providing clear, accessible legal advice across the island of Ireland, combining local expertise with cross-border capability and an expanding Dublin presence.

The new website has been built around a simple principle: most people do not begin their legal journey by searching for a practice area. They begin with a problem. A relationship has broken down. A family dispute has emerged. An investigation has begun. A letter arrives that changes the tone of the day.

At that moment, people are not looking for legal jargon. They want to know where they stand, what happens next and whether someone is on their side.

Commenting on the launch, Director Eoghan McKenna said:

“Legal problems rarely arrive neatly labelled. They usually begin with uncertainty. The new MSM Law website reflects how we work with clients every day. We listen carefully, explain clearly and act decisively. As the firm continues to grow across the island of Ireland, it was important that our brand and website reflected both our experience and our approach.”

We built the new positioning around the strapline: No drama. Just clear legal advice.

We’ve also refreshed the visual identity. Rather than relying on traditional legal imagery, the new design focuses on clarity, structure and accessibility. A system of layered graphic elements reflects the careful, disciplined thinking that sits behind effective legal advice, while a clean and restrained visual style reinforces the firm’s calm and practical approach.

Eugene Burns, Creative Director of Brandlogik, who led the rebrand and website project, said:

“The strongest brands are often the clearest. MSM Law already had the expertise, reputation and client relationships. Our job was to create a brand and website that expressed those strengths more clearly. The result feels modern, approachable and confident while remaining unmistakably Belfast in character.”

The new website provides improved access to information across criminal law, family law, compensation claims, human rights, professional regulation and other specialist areas of practice.

Most importantly, it has been designed around the way clients think. Because when someone needs legal advice, they are not looking for a practice area. They are looking for clarity.
