Karl graduated from Queen's University Belfast in 2013 with an Honours Degree in Law and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2015.
Within the MSM Personal Injury/Litigation Department, Karl has extensive experience dealing with up to the most significant personal injury actions for those who have sadly suffered loss and damage.
He assists and advises clients on a wide range of matters within the County Court, High Court and Court of Appeal spheres as well as at compensation investigation stage.
One of Karl's key interests is around medical negligence compensation claims and he is always keen to ensure the Human Rights of his clients are protected at all times. He has also been involved in many Judicial Review cases. This usually involves challenging the relevant Authorities when their actions have caused or will cause a breach of the fundamental rights that each client is entitled to enjoy.
Karl also assists many types of victims specifically specialising in relevant Civil actions, Historical Institutional Abuse Redress Board Applications and Criminal Injury Compensation Claims both in the initial investigation/application stages and before the Criminal Injury Compensation Appeals Panel, for example. He has been involved in numerous notable and significant victim applications/cases within this jurisdiction whereby clients have been appropriately compensated because of their injuries. He is determined to ensure that clients are strongly represented at all times during the course of legal proceedings in difficult circumstances and champions the highest levels of client care/communication.
Karl is currently a member of the Belfast Solicitors Association and has been for a number of years.
Away from Law, Karl is a keen sports person. He has particular interests in Gaelic football, soccer and going to the gym. He enjoys socialising and keeping himself updated on current affairs around the world.
